Challenge mode gear

Hello guys. I recently had an idea about adding the challenge mode gears from MoP in the game. I know that this might not be possible since I've heard some rumors that you have to add the whole MoP item data files and some things like that. So if it's actually possible to do that with a medium size mpq file. So let's say it's possible, I can mention a few ways that these can be rewarded.

1) Donor Points: Well, that's one of the most default choices, although I would not like to see it obtainable with ONLY donor points.

2)Timed raid/instances runs. (ex Full Clear of MC Bosses in 30 minutes or less)

3) Vote Points. ( Since some people do not need anything from the voteshop at all)

4)Server first raid/instance x 1st. This option is one of the most interesting one from my point of view since it will kinda push people to try do the new content as fast as possible, which I believe is positive for the server, but on the other side it's kinda lame.

So in conclusion, I want to hear if it is possible or not to add these without having a mega mpq file to download. I'm also aware that there has been a topic similar to this posted by Rahoth, but I'd like to remind you that this is only about the challenge mode gears. That is incorrect on having to add all MoP data. You can select specific items which you wish to port. Same with Creature models, spell models, etc. However, it takes a long time to do selected items.

But the staff said they don't want a patch in order to see gear.

@Spade, I know that, and what I forgot to mention is that it would be good if it was added to the current mpq patch instead of making another one. Sorry for forgetting to mention that:/

This can be done.
I can overwrite some old tier set to the challenge mode gear so people without the patch will still see the gear, but people with it see the cool new model
Still..
This will make the patch bigger (And I don't want that.. )

The current patch is around 400 KBs. I still wonder how bigger it will be if what TheMoneyHateer said. By the way thanks for the responds and the attention guys <3

I'd estimate like 10-20 MB if you do it correctly.

Venom, the .dbc files is no problem, It's the .blp files and some other things that takes place.

If this is correct, then why not just add it to the main patch? One 20 MB patch really isn't going to stop people from playing. It's like a 10 second download

Any opinions by any other staff members?
